Bringing traditional hatha yoga from the foothills of the Himalayas to the sandy shores of Southport
Akhanda means “whole”, “indivisible” and “infinite” – this holistic yoga practice involves a balance of asana, pranayama, relaxation, mantra, meditation and discussion of yogic philosophy and lifestyle. Akhanda Yoga was founded by Yogrishi Vishvketu at Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh, India.
Yoga has many benefits – it will improve your strength, flexibility and balance and deepen your connection to your mind, body and soul. Regular practice helps lower the symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. Yoga provides tools for bringing mindfulness practices into your daily life. Renew yourself with each class.
