Less like sleeping beauty?

Instead of medicating yourself to sleep each night, or tossing and turning feeling the rage, the anxiety and desperation of needing to be asleep to face the next day – consider if Yoga and Meditation could help.

I am listening to Woman’s Hour on Radio 2 this morning with a discussion on insomnia and sleeping problems. It’s such a common problem for many of us and I suffered greatly with sleeping problems during a period of high stress and anxiety for over a year. I felt like I was going slightly mad at one point!

Yoga is one way of learning how to relax your body and mind by using and slowing the breath which can help at bedtime. Certain postures we use in class can also help aid sleep. It works for me. So why not try Yoga and see if it can help you too.
